Halloween means lots of Candy.  Sharing Halloween Candy Ideas for Leftover Candy from DIYs to where to donate it.

Halloween Candy Ideas for Leftover Candy

I admit it I had a snickers bar for breakfast.  I don't know about you, but if I have it in the house I know that I will eat it.  So while B is at school I have decided this is the perfect time to think of creative ways to use it so we don't have bags and bags of leftover candy in our pantry. So I have come up with 4 halloween candy ideas

This Cranberry Bliss Toffee recipe could be updated with pieces of candy bars on top for a yummy treat that you can share with friends.  Or how delicious would this Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookie be with pieces of candy bar.  You could also make cookies or blondies with candy toppings.  Or have a DIY ice cream party with lots of candy toppings.

    Easy Candy Crafts

There are so many fun things you can do with left over candy for crafts.  I love using candy to make fun centerpieces.  You could do something similar to this DIY Candy Heart Vase.  And you need is two glass vases, flowers and candy. Or you could use it to make an advent calendar or use the candy to fill mini piñata like these Scarecrow Mini Pinatas.

    Donate Candy

There are a number of charities that accept candy, get the complete list places to donate candy.  They then give it to their clients or troops.

    Trade In Candy

I don't know about your kids, but B would do just about anything for an LOL doll.  Have your kids trade their candy in for small toys or books. The target dollar spot would be the perfect place to go shopping.

Take it to Your Office or School

Want to keep it really simple.  Take the left over candy to your office.  It is amazing how when you put things into an office kitchen it disappears.

Local mom scoop has a fun idea of a Candy Fairy.
