Who’s ready for Super Bowl LVI? Today I will share how to put an entire party including simple football theme decorations and easy football food ideas.
Game Day Party
We love to entertain and for football games we are team snacks!
Game Day Food
It's crunch time when it comes to Football Food. If you are having friends come have them bring a dish too. Here are some of my favorites to have on a football shaped board.
- Doritos
- Smartfood
- Grapes
- Tostitos Salsa
- Tostitos Scoops
- Cheese
Head over to Crunch Time My Way site to get discounts on all these drinks and snacks. We found everything we needed at Publix.
Game Day Drinks
For drinks keep them in a cooler so that they stay cold for the entire game. We like to have a variety of options like.
- Pepsi
- Aquafina
- bubly
To make them even more festive take tape and create football laces on your glasses. Then add a black and white straw with a straw flag.
Game Day Sandwiches
In addition to the snacks we like to serve oversized sandwiches. To make them extra fun take a slice of white cheese, I used white American cheese. You could use mozzarella or provolone. Slice the cheese into the laces of the football and the white lines on the ends. Make your sandwich first with your favorite lunch meat and toppings, then add the cheese decorations.
Half Time Show
There is one part of the game that I make sure I do what and that is the half time show. And this year's halftime show is going to be one of the best ones yet!!!
Game Day Party Decorations
I love to have the food be a part of the decor so I can keep the decorations simple, but still set the scene for a football party. These party decorating ideas for adults are super simple.
- Use craft paper as your tablecloth or table runner depending on your table. Then use a marker to create x & o's to draw game plays on the table cloth.
- Serve your snacks on a football cutting board.
- Use printables like these pennants, sign, straw flags, and footballs from Get Your Confetti to decorate with.
- Another fun and easy idea is to use a football shaped cookie cutter to cut things like cheese and brownies.
