We love Disney. I feel like we are always planning our next trip to Disney. I am currently planning B's birthday trip to Disney. Here are the 10 things you need to do before you go to Disney.
10 Things You Must Do Before You Go to Disney
1. Book your Hotel
There is no shortage of Hotels in Orlando. From high end luxury to economy hotels over the last 30 years I have stayed in every type of hotel depending on the trip. For this trip we are going for almost a week and want to have some downtime at the hotel so we will be staying at a Disney resort. The benefits of staying at a Disney Resort include: shuttles to the park, extra magic hours, fun pools with activities and Disney themes. I will do a post on all the benefits soon.
2. Plan your Stay
What parks do you want to go to? Will you have a day or two where you are not going to the parks. We almost always have a day where we go to to Disney Springs. Check out my post about the 10 Free Things to do at Disney Springs. We always go in with a rough plan of what parks we want to go to on what days and our top things to see.
3. Buy Your Tickets
Avoid the lines and buy your tickets ahead of time. It is so easy to purchase tickets online through Disney, or purchase tickets at your local AAA or other re-sellers. We are annual pass holders this year.
4. MyDisneyExperience Account
A MyDisneyExperience account is a must when going to Disney World. It is your all access hub to your FastPasses, dining reservations, official Disney resort reservations, PhotoPass photos, and more. It is free to sign up.
5. Link Tickets or Hotel to MyDisneyExperience
Your MyDisneyExperience allows you to make day-by-day plans and manage your vacation details right.
6. Download the Disney World app
Be sure to also download the Disney World/MyDisneyExperience app to your smartphone. We love using the app as map and to make last minute changes to our fast passes and dining reservations. While we have a schedule for the day we always allow flexibility in the schedule.
7. Book Fast Passes
FastPass+ is a ride reservation system that gets you into a much shorter line. You can make 3 FastPass+ reservations per person per day. If you are staying at a Disney World resort, you can make FastPass+ reservations for your entire trip 60 days ahead of the first day of your trip. For all other guests, you can make your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance.
8. Make Dining Reservations
We love to have at least one character experience for a meal. There are options inside and outside the parks. This trip we are trying the character meal inside Hollywood Studios. Mickey and Minnie dress up for Halloween in the fall. We cannot wait. We also pack a cooler with drinks and snacks so that we are not stopping every 5 minutes to get food.
9. Disney Clothes/Toys
We are not the family who wears all matching clothes, but I do like to pull out all the Disney outfits for Bailey. I also stock up on light up toys and bring some Mickey and Minnie clothes. It helps when she is begging for a new toy every day.
10. Pack/Packing List
I always like to make a list so that I don't forget anything. See my top 10 things to pack for Disney.

Who does not like Disney? Everyone loves Disney. Old and young would love it. Including me too! I love the characters of Mickey Mouse and other Disney princesses. Disney Princess I like most is Cinderella and Snow White. Because it's so popular no wonder the Disney theme is often used as themes at children's birthday parties or wedding parties. If in the near future you will be celebrating your kids birthday party or other relatives you can get all the decoration and its accessories at partyshop.nl, easy shopping solution for you.
