    Items needed

    • Paper plates. We used small ones because that is the size we had.  You can also use full size plates
    • Hot glue gun
    • Sizzors
    • Pipe cleaner
    • Wooden craft stick
    • Paint, stickers, etc.

    Instructions

Step 1 - Cut the plates in half.  With both sides slacked together cut out a triangle in the middle.

Step 2 - Wrap the pipe cleaner around the wooden craft stick and glue in the backside.  Then glue the eyes on or draw them in.   Finally glue the plates together and then the wooden stick the middle.

Step 3 - It is time to decorate.  We used markers and marker dots which are Bailey's favorite new arts and craft tool.

We will do this one again.  Have you made butterflies before?

Thank you. We had a blast. Just simple enough to be the perfect craft for a 3 year old. Let us know if you try them.
