Beaches Turks and Caicos is a dream vacation for everyone in your family. There are so many things to do in Turks and Caicos. I am sharing the 10 things you do need to do in Turks and Caicos.
Re-entry to everyday life about Beaches Moms, Social Media on the Sand Conference has been more difficult than I ever thought possible. I miss the ocean breeze, the unlimited drinks, the 21 restaurants, being with my family and friends so much. We are already dreaming about our next trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos.
Things to do in Turks and Caicos Beaches
1. Tour Beaches Turks and Caicos
Put on your bathing suit and get the lay of the land. The resort includes so much including 45,000 square-foot waterpark; five magnificent villages, boasting the architecture and ambiance of Italy, France, the Caribbean and Key West; a 12-mile beach that was just named the best beach in the world. And endless fun activities for everyone in your family.
They offer tours of the property two times a day. We took our own tour and therefore we were discovering new things right up to the day we left when we saw the Nursery on property where they grow plants for the property. And the area where you can check out games next to the Caribbean Beach pool. If you arrive late make sure you at least head straight to the beach. The color of the water is like nothing I have ever seen. We missed seeing the sunset over the beach, so don't make the same mistake.
Want to get the full perspective of this amazing property, my friend Jasmine Cosme with Simply Real Moms captured this incredible drone footage.
2. Grab a Drink
Complete your mini bar request form. You can select the type of wine and beer you want stocked in your mini bar. The staff will add them to your refrigerator that is already stocked with water, soda and juice. They are all included in you room.
We were so happy to see that Beaches has our favorite Appleton Rum and B's favorite Shirley Temples.
3. Register for Kids Club at Beaches
During your tour of the property find the kids club for your kids age. Club Sesame is for little kids. And Kids Club is for kids older than 4. When you register you need to bring you Children’s passports and crate a password for you to share at pick up time. Can we take a minute and talk about how adorable these pool chairs are at Club Sesame?
4. Grab a Snack
We made the mistake of skipping lunch and waiting to eat lunch at the resort. The customs line took a while and by the time we arrived at the resort we were a hungry group. Depending on your flight time plan to enjoy a snack and not a meal when you first arrive. My recommendation would be to hit up the Mac and Cheese truck, Swirls and Curls Ice cream truck or Bobby Dees for a quick pick me up.
5. Plan out your meals at Beaches Turks and Caicos
With 21 restaurants on property you will want to try and experience as many of them as possible. My friend Michelle at gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Enjoy a progressive dinner and enjoy apps, entrees and desserts at different restaurants. Kimonos is the hibachi restaurant and it requires a reservation. You will not want to miss it. Michelle also has a great list of 10 things you need to eat for breakfast.
If you have kids you also need to make reservations for Brunch with Sesame Street. This brunch was one of our sweetest meals. The characters took so much time to interact with all the kids and to dance with them. How cute are B and Avery, do you recognize her from Modern Boca Mom? Going with Michelle, Andy and Avery was a huge perk of the trip.
6. Water Activities Included
Determine your water activities. I still cannot believe that all these water activities are included with you stay.
- Ocean Kayaks
- Snorkeling
- 6 Pools
- 2 Kiddie Pools
- Hydrobikes
- 5 Swim-up Bars
- Windsurfing
- Paddle Boarding
- Scuba-Diving
- 4 Whirlpools
- 2 Huge Waterslides
- Hobie® Cats
Head over to the dive shop and water desk. The are right by the docks. Sign up for your activities for the week. Since everything is included sometimes the dive trips, snorkeling and glass bottom boats fill up. Since it has been a long time since we last doe we took a PADI refresher course.
7. Shows and Parades
Get the schedule of events for the day. Take special note of the shows. You are not going to want to miss them. There is a Sesame Street Show and an adult show every night. Everyday you will get an updated schedule in your room so you don't miss anything. There really are so many things to do in Turk and Caicos Beach.
8. Trips off Property Beaches Turks and Caicos
Determine if you want to do any trips off property. Island Routes is the company that runs these trips. There is a fee, but they are worth the price. We took a sunset cruise that turned into a dance party!!!
9. Get in the Water
Jump into the pool, the ocean or the waterpark.
10. Swim Up to the Bar
Did you know that the Sandals company invented the swim up bar? Swim up to the bar and order your favorite drink!!!
Welcome to paradise. Soak it all in!!!
