Last year I did my first project with yarn and I was hooked. You can see my DIY Tutorial for the Nautical Yarn Wreaths here. I have been waiting for another project. When I found these tops for mason jars in my craft room I knew I was going to recreate them in a mini version that could be an ornament or a place card. The project to make one took me about 15 minutes. I am excited to share this DIY Tutorial Mini Yarn Wreath with you.
Supplies you will need for DIY Mini Yarn Wreath:
- Top of a Mason Jar
- Yarn
- Glue gun
- Embellishments of your choice. I want to do more with ribbon and jingle bells.
DIY Tutorial Mini Yarn Wreath
Step 1 - Glue the end of the yarn under the mason jar lid. Wrap the yarn around the jar lid. You can use one color or multiple colors. I selected two of this project.
Step 2: Once you have wrapped up the entire lid tie a knot to create a loop to hang the wreath.
Step 3: Embellish. I used holly and a place card.
What color yarn and embellishments would you use?
