DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub + Spa Gift Basket
I love everything peppermint. In the past month alone I have created recipes for Peppermint Latte, Peppermint Chip Milkshake, DIY Peppermint Holiday Decor and Peppermint Frosted Brownies. Now that the holidays are officially here, it is time to start thinking about gifts. I don’t know about you, but my list seems to grow every year. So, when I was planning gift ideas I knew it was the perfect time to figure out how to make a peppermint sugar scrub. I am still in shock at just how easy it is to make. For just a couple of dollars, in about 5 minutes you have the perfect homemade gift. It is an easy DIY that is great for a gift or for yourself. Bonus: it smells amazing and makes you think of the holidays.
I paired this Peppermint Sugar Scrub with a candle, slippers, extra soft towel, body lotion and some fun nail polish. I created some custom printable tags to tie the gift together.
Ingredients for DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub 
- 2 cups white sugar
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 5-10 drops peppermint essential oil
Optional:
- 6-10 drops red food coloring
- 1 tablespoon of red jojoba beads

How to Make DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub
- In a bowl combine sugar and coconut oil. Mix until they are combined.
Pro Tip: You can heat the coconut oil so it is a liquid.
- Add peppermint oil and combine.
- Optional: Add red food coloring and stir until the desired color.
- Add the scrub to a glass jar.
