Summary of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, brings back all the the heroes of Bricksburg. In this action-packed sequel they are once again saving their city. In the last 5 years since their first movie the citizens have come under attack by a new threat, LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space. Their powers allow them to break up the city faster than it can be rebuilt. The movie is directed by Mike Mitchell, who also directed Trolls (have you seen this Trolls headband) and animation director Trish Gum from the LEGO Batman Movie and Robot Chicken. It is rated PG and crosses over many genres including: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy, Animation, Family, Musical.
The writer-producer combo includes Oscar-nominated Chris Miller and Phil Lord. They were both fired from “Solo: A Star Wars Story." Giving them time to pour themselves into “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse” and “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.” And it shows.
The start of the movie is where we left the Lego stars in the last movie; Dad (Will Ferrell) and son Finn (Jadon Sand) are playing together with their LEGOs. Finn's little sister Bianca (Brooklynn Prince) joins them to play with LEGO and her DUPLO creations arrive in Bricksburg to “destwoy” them.
Five years later, Bricksburg is no more, replaced by Apocalypseburg. Captain Mayhem (Stephanie Beatriz) arrives on a mission to bring five LEGO stars to the Systar System. They are requested for the marriage celebration of Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi (Tiffany Haddish).
For Kurt he loved the cameos, including Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, DC characters, and one surprise appearance that I don't want to spoil for you.

The highlight for B was the MUSIC. She was literally standing up and dancing during most of the movie. Including two new versions of “Everything Is Awesome.”
When you think the movie is over stay seated and listen closely.
This movie has us planning our next trip to Legoland Florida.
