    DIY Puffy Paints

We were running low of paint which I never thought would happen given all the paint we had.  When I saw Cindy from My Love Loss Life's post I knew it was our next project.   It combines two of Bailey's favorite things: cooking and crafts.

    What you need

    • 1 cup of flour
    • 3 teaspoons of baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon of salt
    • 1 cup of water
    • Food coloring
    • Squeeze bottles

    How to:

Step 1 - Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together. Then add in the water slowly until it starts to look like pancake batter.

Step 2 - Split the paints into equal parts depending on the number of colors you want to make.  We split them into thirds.  Add food coloring and stir it together until you get the color you want.   We tried shaking the bottles at first but we did not have much success mixing the colors.

Step 3 - Time to start painting.  Bailey really enjoyed squeezing out the paints.  I would highly recommend making these.

Have you made paint before?   Any other recipes we should try?
