Thank you to United Artists Releasing for hosting us for an early preview of Missing Link movie.

    Missing Link Movie

April 12th you need to make a date to meet Mr. Link, The Missing Link.  Voiced by Zach Galifianakis he is 8 feet tall, 630 lbs, and covered in orange fur.  He is super funny, sweet, and adorable.  Mr. Link has been living alone in the Pacific Northwest.  He is tired of being alone so writes to a fearless explorer, Sir Lionel Frost voiced by Hugh Jackman. Frost is the the laughing stock of the community as a monster-hunter who believes in the Lock Ness monster.

Once Mr. Link and Frost meet they set off on a journey to find Mr. Links long-lost Yeti cousins in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. Along with adventurer Adelina Fortnight, voiced by Zo Saldana they’re about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime!.

    Missing Link Movie Review

B was a little nervous at the start of the movie as they developed the characters, especially Sir Frost.  Once they started the adventure we could not wait to follow along.  Missing Link is stop-motion animated film which took a little getting used to, by the end I fully appreciated it.  The transitions between scenes were extremely creative.

B gave the movie two thumbs up and would recommend it!  Kurt and I enjoyed the humor and the message about acceptance.  Kurt said it reminded him of an animated Indian Jones.

I’m so excited to take my older daughter to see this! We have a long-standing tradition of seeing the Laika films in theaters (starting with Coraline when my DH and I were dating), and Missing Link will be no exception.

I know my kids would love this. It looks wild and reminds me of Chicken Run or Ernest and Celestine!
