I love going out with friends and my hubby for a night out, but I have not made it a priority. When it comes time to get ready to go out especially on a "school night" I have a hard time getting motivated to leave my house and get over my mommy guilt. Media dinners force me to get out and experience new places and catch up with friends. The blogging community is so supportive of each other. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek hosted a group of digital influencers and it was a night to remember. You do not need to be into gambling to enjoy a night out at the Seminole Casino!
Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
From the moment we stepped out of the car the Seminole Casino's team won me over with their hospitality. They literally rolled out the red carpet for us. We were greeted by the team and given a welcome cocktail, The Maximus. A craft gin and vodka combination Grand Marnier 100, Lillet Blanc on the rocks and 23K gold leaf.
Fresh Harvest
Our progressive dinner kicked off at Fresh Harvest. Their tag line is an elevated variety dining experience, which perfectly describes it. The buffet stations start with dessert, which is just my style, best to plan your dinner around what you want to dessert. They have everything from salads, sandwiches, entrees to never ending display of desserts. Our first course was the Ahi Tuna Poke on a crispy gyoza skin with avocado and a slice of jalapeño. It was amazing and made me want to stay at Fresh Harvest for all the courses.
After the Ahi Tuna Poke we had Braised Pork Wing. The pork literally fell off the bone. The flavor was incredible. They were paid with Peruvian purple potato and celery root puree.
Sorrisi
Next we were guided to Sorrisi an authentic Italian restaurant with fine wines and hand-crafted, herb-infused cocktails. We were escorted to the back into a private dining room. Complete with a guitar player serenading us and the most beautiful centerpieces.
My favorite dish of the night was the Lobster Ravioli. I could have made this my entire meal. And would have been happy to stay in this room for the rest of the night. It is the ideal space to host an intimate dinner birthday or holiday party.
NYY Steak
NYY Steak was our next stop. We were introduced to the Lead Butcher Walter Apfelbaum. I love to meet people who follow their passion and love what they do. Walter epitmizing this. He shared with us how the USDA determine what is Prime beef.
Our first course at NYY Steak, was their Osetra Caviar Service. The caviar was served with egg, red onion, creme fraiche and chives. It was paired with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne!
The next course was the most posted photo to social media! The NYY Signature Thick Cut Bacon house cured and smoked Kurobuta pork belly having over cornbread. I am surprised that I have never seen bacon served this way before.
Prime Dry-Aged New York Strip with Creamed Spinach with Truffle Mac and Cheese was the perfect final course before dessert. It was paired with CrossBarn by Paul Hobbs, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dessert started with NYY Steak Signature 151 Volcano which was vanilla bean ice cream topped with Health bar crunch and 151 Rum. Dessert was more like a show when it was lit on fire.
level2
After NYY we were taken upstairs to level2 the non-smoking casino level. I wish I had saved room for their assorted dessert display. Next time.
