September is one of my favorite months. First because it is my baby girl’s birthday month!!!! Second some of our closest friends are also September birthdays so it is a celebratory month. Third because we love Fall, while we do not have a change of seasons we decorate for fall and embrace the pumpkin patches even though they are man made.
Our first September birthday is one of Bailey’s closest friends and the daughter of one of my favorite people in the world. This year for her birthday Captain Ava requested a Pirate party. Her mom is an incredible cook and is super creative. She is an amazing CPA , who I highly recommend by day and a DIYer at night. The party did not disappoint.
Welcome Sign:
We were greeted by a custom made Ahoy Matey sign made by our fabulous host.
The kids loved dressing up like pirates. The birthday girl "Captain Ava" wore a custom made shirt by her mom. And the gold coins and jewelry were a hit!!
The highlight of the party was the custom made clubhouse that was built by Ava's dad. It was a labor of love that was completed the day before the party. Complete with shutters, a slide and a monogram for the birthday girl and her little sister.
