I am not morning person.  I so wish I was.  Before the time change I had gotten into an amazing morning routine.  It made me feel so good that I even convinced my husband that he should join me.

    Morning Routine for School

    Wake Up Early

Waking up any early than we had to was a major adjustment.  When I do my day stars out so much better.  There is something about having some quiet time in the morning before the hustle to school starts that is so refreshing.

    Workout

We have an elliptical and I subscribe to an at home workout program online.  One of the keys to working out in the morning is laying my workout clothes out the night before.  There are lots of perks of working out at the house.  Including no drive time to the gym and that you don't have to worry if you outfit even matches or if you have crazy hair.  I can literally roll out of bed, throw my clothes on and be working out within 10 minutes.  This is really important for me since every minute of extra sleep is precious.

Coffee & Breakfast morning routine for school

Kurt and I try to split the responsibilities in the morning although he often does most of the work.  He is so sweet and makes my coffee and normally preps breakfast for all three of us.  Which means he is often a short order chef in the morning since we generally all want something different.  Instead of rushing through and trying to enjoy my breakfast with the family I generally sit down and enjoy at least my cup of coffee with everyone so I can be part of the breakfast club.

    Clean Up

As soon as B and Kurt are out the door to school I do a quick clean up of the dishes and any other items that were misplaced from the night before.

    My BreakfastBreakfast for Morning Routine

Once the house is quiet again then I can finish my coffee and enjoy my breakfast.  Recently, I have added more yogurt into my diet.  Add in some fresh fruit in a pretty bowl of coffee cup and it feel like a fancy breakfast.  While I was at Publix last week on one of many trips I found this new coffee 1850™ Brand.  Just another reason I love Publix they make shopping a pleasure and carry the newest products.

1850™ Brand comes in four signature blends of Ground and K-Cup coffee, and will also be available in 3 Ready to Drink flavors, get all the details here.  It has a very rich taste and aroma because their coffee beans are fire-roasted.   Their blend of ground coffee is a bold, yet smooth taste.  The coffee beans are evenly roasted for consistent coffee flavor with less bitterness.  See below where to look for it at your local Publix.
