Miracle Stain Cleaner
I love buying clothes for my daughter. She has the cutest clothes and I I was getting so sad when she spills on them. I don't know what it is, but it seems that every time she gets a new shirt she seems to spill all over it from chocolate to pizza sauce.
Before I found this this miracle stain remover I used to have a growing basket of stained clothes that was driving me nuts. I tried all the stain fighters on the market. It even worked well on stains that had grown through the dryer and stains that have been there for weeks.
Since I have been trying to eliminate harsh chemicals from our home I thought I would try a DIY stain remover for clothes. This DIY stain remover is so easy to make with only 3 ingredients. It truly is a miracle cleaner. And the only cleaner you will need for clothes.

Can this be used on colored clothes also or does this work on whites only?
Cristy says
That is a great question. I have only used it on white clothes.
Janie R says
I have used it on colored clothes. No problem that i have noticed. I've used it for years and love the results.
Starr says
I myself have used it on colored fabric and it bleached the color out of the spot that I used it on.I let it sit on the spot for a while so I can not really be sure that the same thing is going to happen to you I think you are not really supposed to let it soak in. I have since been told that it depends on the fabric and treatment of the colors of the fabric

I used this on crystal liquor containers that were stained. I tried everything, even acetone, alcohol and baking soda. Your formula worked overnight. It was great. Thank you. Margaret
Cristy says
You made my day. So happy to know it works for crystal too!

I love love love your Miracle Cleaner!! I have told my kids, my sisters, I even gave the recipe to a lady who was looking at stain removers at Walmart ?. Did I mention that I love it?
I do have a question though. The first time I made this, I used a store bought empty All Purpose Cleaner Bottle (Plastic). I’m not sure how many days went by before I noticed that my bottle was getting a beer belly (expanding). Ok, so I didn’t pay attention in my science class (back in the 70’s).. I know I can use a glass bottle. Can I also use any metal bottle?
Thank you for sharing your recipe ?

If you let the garnet sit in the sun for a while (like an hour or so) it will work even better and dissappear even faster! (I’ve never tried it on colors in the sun though!!! Thx for sharing the small batch recipe!!!!! ???
Cristy says
That is great to know. I will try that next time.

I heard about it about 3 months ago. I have gotten a lot of stains out of my grandchildren’s clothes. I am washing infant clothes for my daughter who just had twins. The stains have been in the clothes for almost two years and they came out. I find it works best when it is freshly made. I love it.
Cristy says
So happy to hear it is working for you too. It really is a miracle stain remover

Your message made my day. It really is a miracle combination.
Jackson M. Watkins says
Hi Cristy,
Thanks for saying that. It is very kind of you to reply. I speak the truth, I cannot remember any stain that I have tried it on where it did not get the stain out. I have probably been using your recipe for at least 2 1/2 to 3 years now. Putting it mildly, my husband is extremely hard on his clothes and your recipe has saved a good bit of his nicer brand name shirts & slacks. Thanks so much.
Grace says
Will this work for white cotton panties?
Cristy says
I would think so. It works with cotton shirts abs shorts.
Sherry says
Can you use on carpet, it used to be an eggshell color, but my son works on cars and now it has grease stains it.
Erin says
It worked on my blue carpet. I didn’t even leave it on for an hour, just applied and scrubbed. Stain came right off.
Kim Andrews says
Does the stain turn a pink color while it’s soaking on it
Stephanie says
It removed red cough syrup from my white carpet with no problem.

Is this only for clothes?
Cristy says
I have only used it on clothes, but other people have used it on furniture so I would think it works on different surfaces.
Jess says
Does this work on carpet? I have kool-aid stain I can't get off.
Cristy says
I have not tried it on carpet since I normally throw everything in the washing machine after I apply it. But, it is worth a try. Let me know how it works.
Ivory says
Will be given it a try. Can this be used on more than just cloths.
Cristy says
Yes it works on all types of fabrics
Joey Travis says
Expensive white polo dress shirt/ dirty stain around entire collar. About to mix up and try now. Will let you know how it turns out.
Chelsea Hall says
Does this work on colored clothes as well?
Cristy says
Yes we have used it on color clothes before. But I would recommend testing it on a small spot first just to be sure so fabric respond differentlly.
Auralee Malina-Aweau says
Oh my goodness I used this recipe on my husbands white work shirts, it WAS heavily stained on the arm pits and neckline I soaked all 5 shirts in this solution for a little over 5 hours threw them into the washer machine and using the soak cycle on hot water and let it go. I wasn’t expecting everything to come out but boy let me tell you on all 5 shirts the arm pit stains are COMPLETELY gone, the necklines will need a little more work but it’s substantially better. I’m definitely keeping and using this recipe. It’s AWESOME
Cristy says
I am so happy!!! It has been a life saver for us too.
Laura says
Looks like the stain remover mix works. I'm definitely going to try this!
