Have you had the Minivan vs. SUV debate in your house? After having a Toyota Sienna 2019 for a week it left me asking is it time for a Minivan? Thank you to Toyota for giving us the minivan for a week. As always opinion are 100% my own.
When Kurt and I first met I drove a two door sports car that was my dream car. Cars are Kurt's passion; most weekends you can find him at car shows. If you follow him on IG you know he is a car lover. Before B was born he made me promise that we would never buy a minivan.
As our relationship progressed and our family has grown so have our cars. I miss the days of a zipping around in my sports car, but I would not trade my family life for it. Today, we have two SUVs.
As B has grown she has gotten more and more vocal about what she likes. And she tries to influence our purchases including our car purchases. For the last year she has been on a mission to convince us that it is time for a minivan.
So, when Toyota offered us the opportunity to experience the Toyota Sienna minivan on a trip to Orlando, she was over the moon. I originally was team SUV, but after a week with The Toyota Sienna 2019 left me questioning myself and asking Is it time for a Minivan?
Minivan vs. SUV
Growing up my dad almost always had a minivan. I am 6' and my little brother is 6'6". When I asked him about it he said we wanted to have a car that gave you guys enough legroom and also had room for friends and all your sports gear.
Toyota Sienna 2019
The Toyota Sienna 2019 minivan offers a you all the benefits of a minivan with maximum style.
As a mom the safety of a vehicle is the most important thing. Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P) is standard on Sienna. The safety system is a bundle of active safety features at no additional cost. These innovative features were designed to help protect you and your passengers from harm.
Toyota Sienna Interior
By the end of the week I could not image going back to my SUV. The interior of the Toyota Sienna is versatile, comfortable and convenient. They offer a Split & Stow 3rd Row® seat lets you load up family and friends. Leaving the grocery store I could not get over how the back seats automatically disappeared with a touch of a button. And since we don't travel light I love how easy it was to change the configuration of the trunk.
B was most excited about the Dual-View Blu-ray Disc™ Entertainment Center. The entertainment center came with wireless headphones as well. We did not have to listen to the movies or worry about the battery being charged on her tablet for a device. It made our drive to the Orlando feel like just a couple of minutes instead of 3 plus hours.
In addition to the entertainment center the Sienna offers smart technology. With 5 USB ports throughout three rows everyone can keep their devices charged. The Bird's Eye View Camera made it easy to get out of those tight spaces with ease. The Sienna has a touchscreen radio. I love that when you plug in your iPhone it connects to the car. It will even read your text messages for you.
The back doors slide with a touch of a button. Making it super easy for everyone to load in and out of the car.
