    Lilly Pulitzer Themed Birthday Party

We love to celebrate all holidays, but especially birthdays.  I have been a Lilly Pulitzer fan basically my entire life.  Bailey's nursery is Lilly themed, will do a later post on that.  I knew that soon Bailey would be picking out her own theme so I took the opportunity to do my favorite theme again (it was the theme of my 30th Birthday too).   Since we just had her 3rd birthday I thought it would be fun to look back at Bailey's 2nd birthday party.

I started with looking at my favorite resource Pinterest.

I love monograming as much as I love pink and green so when I saw this design I know it was the one.  I know lots of people are doing digital invites, but for me there is nothing like getting an invite in the mail.

Photo show - We always put together a photo show with our best photos for the year.  It is a fun way to relive the past year.

Happy Birthday Sign - I love our sillette cameo, but wish I knew how to use it even better.  We made this sign using Lillh wrapping paper which was great in theory, but so much more difficult than I thought it would be.  It made the perfect background for photos.

Details - For me parties are all about the details.  We did Bailey's two year old photo shoot on the beach in her Lilly dress and used the photos in her party decor.  I wrapped our black and white picture with white paper and accented it with lilly since it took away from the photos of the birthday girl.

    Gift and Favor Table

Kurt and I make such a great team.  I have the vision and he has the computer skills to execute my vision.  We made monogrammed pink and green buckets for each kid with candy and other toys.  I even wrapped Bailey's gifts in Lilly to coordinate with her party.

Dessert Table - Thank goodness for my sister-in-law my vision for the background was not working. She came to the rescue and made these balloon flowers.

Can you tell we love sugar and think you can never have too much cake?  We made the cupcake flags ourselves.

The cookies we bought from etsy were not only beautiful, but they were delicious.  I would highly recommend them.

We love Publix cake while they did not have a Lilly cake design I love how they allowed us to change the colors of their basket weave design.

Coloring station - we made custome coloring pages that were Lilly designs.

Bailey is already a photographer like her daddy.

What is the favorite party theme you have done?

We haven't really had a big party of my daughter, even though she'll be 4 years old in January. In Japan, birthday parties aren't really very common. However, we'll be moving to Canada next year, and when she's in school, she'll have to have a birthday party, I'm sure. But when I was a kid, the theme was usually just go bowling.

By the way, I want one of those cupcakes. Looks delicious!

I love parties!!! Any excuse to celebrate! Big move for you guys. Look forward to reading your blog to follow your adventure. If you come to the States, mainly the south you must try Publix bakery, they are our main grocery store and they have the best bakery.

I'm not sure how much grocery shopping I'd do while traveling 🙂 But I'll keep it in mind.

Haha. If you need a quick lunch Publix subs are incredible.

Super cute theme and party for a super adorable Bailey! ? We have only had one party so far and it was a rubber ducky theme because that was my son's favorite toy at the time.
