Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Toaster Pastries
Ingredients Needed for Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Toaster Pastries
Crust
- 2 packages of pie crust
Filling
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Egg wash
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons milk
Icing
- Malt-O-Meal Cinnamon Dyno-Bite
- 2 tablespoons cereal milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Topping
- Malt-O-Meal Cinnamon Dyno-Bite

How to Make for Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Toaster Pastries
- Roll out your pie crust and cut out rectangles. Pro Tip: Use a rolling pin to make the pie crust a little thinner.
- Make egg wash by mixing together an egg and milk. Brush the egg wash onto the bottom of the toaster pastries.
- Make your filling. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and flour together in a small bowl. And spoon into the middle of each bottom of the toaster pastries. Spread it around leaving about ¼" by all four edges.
- Brush the egg wash on the top section of the Toaster Pastries and place it on top of the bottom section.
- Poke holes in the top of each toaster pastries. The use a fork to close the top and bottom together.
- Place them into the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Once they have cooled for 20 minutes brush the egg wash on the top section and cook them for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once they are golden brown let the toaster pastries cool on the pan for a couple of minutes before transferring to the cooling rack.
- Pour milk onto your Malt-O-Meal Cinnamon Dyno-Bite. Drain the milk to use in your glaze. Make you glaze by combining powder sugar, vanilla and the cereal milk. Once toaster pastries are completely cooled glaze them and top with cereal.
