Supplies you Need for Nautical Party Decor with Lifesaver Candy
- Lifesavers (mint flavored is ideal for the white color)
- Rope/twine
- Decor items: Utensils, Napkins, Mason Jars or Vases.
How to Create Nautical Party Decor with Lifesaver Candy
Step 1 – Cut the rope to the length you want. I find it best to test one out and then cut all the rope the same length using the first as a template for all of them. Fold the rope in half and put it through the middle of the life saver. Loop the other end through and tighten it onto the life saver.
Step 2 – Now comes the fun part there are so many things that you can add the detail to.
Mason Jar - wrap the rope around the top of a mason jar. You could use these for your glasses or for decor. For this party I add glass rocks and our photo props as seen below. I also debating about filling them with water and topping with flowers or a floating candle.
Vase - I took a vase from the dollar store and wrapped it with burlap, then a red and white ribbon and tied the lifesaver on as the final detail.
Napkins with Utensils - Take your utensils and wrap them in a napkin and then tie them off with you top and lifesaver.
Have you decorated with lifesavers before? Love to hear what worked for you.
