Since we bought our home I have disliked our mailbox. I think the old owners probably built in when kids were knocking down mailboxes. I tried to pressure wash it and thought about repainting it. The rust was our final sign that it could not be saved. I have been checking out mailboxes for months and kept coming back to the same one, Newport Plus Mail Post and Arctic White Mailbox.
The project was much more difficult than we originally thought. Thank goodness for amazing neighbors. 
The final product. Love it! My mom even drove by our house and did not recognize it with the new mailbox. What do you think? 
We need to add vinyl numbers. Do you have a favorite curb appeal project? Will post more pictures once we add the numbers.
