Bats + Bows Halloween Party

I was never a Halloween lover until Bailey was born. Annaliese from Made of Sugar and Spice Boo-tiful ball preview on Instagram inspired me to create this party. We had a black, pink and purple Bats + Bows Halloween Party. Bailey and I found these black and purple bat masks and she wanted to get them for all of her friends.

TABLE

For our centerpiece we started with our black and white table runner from Oriental Trading and then layered on pumpkins. We knew that we wanted to use the bat masks in the design so we tried it on our big pumpkin and it was perfect. Then we added a bow and some show paper behind it so that the mask popped.

For each guest place setting we used a gold charger, white plate with a pink plate on top. Our napkins were tied with the purple pom pom trim and topped with a mini bat. For their glasses we used our favorite milk bottle and topped them with straws with bat decor.

Bailey loved wearing her bat mask! We love a theme! Nothing like matching your theme!

FOOD

We were originally going to bake our own cookies. When I saw these bat cookies at Trader Joe's I knew we no longer needed to make them. I made bows out of fruit by the foot to stick with our theme. The purple and orange mini cupcakes were a hit with everyone. The bat chips also from Trader Joe's were so cute! Who knew there were bat chips. Fresh Market never disappoints with their candy selection including chocolate covered raisins, gumballs and jelly beans.
