I am still in shock that school has started. While B is loving school it has been a rough transition for all of us. School starts almost an hour earlier than preschool so our morning and nighttime routines have changed significantly. We are all night owls including B. Last year after dinner we would run errands or play games. Now as soon as Kurt gets home from work we have dinner and then it is bedtime.
The first day of school I came home and took a nap. It was a wakeup call that I needed to start going to bed earlier too. Which sounds much easier than it is, especially when you are used to staying up late. And only a two weeks into the school year we are dealing with our first cold of the school year, this time it is Kurt. It brings me back to our first year of school when we were regulars at the doctor's office.
So, at a recent trip to Walmart we picked up a couple of things to help us adjust to our new sleep schedule, Nature Made® Melatonin Adult Gummies. We take them about an hour before we want to go to sleep. They are a great-tasting, easy way to help support sleep.† They also help your body reset its sleep/wake cycle.† Each gummy has 2.5 mg of Melatonin.
We are also taking Nature Made® Super C Immune Complex provides, which provides an excellent source of five key immune support nutrients.† It helps give your immune system the extra support to help your overall health and well-being. Each pill has 900 mg of vitamin C and 15 mg (33 IU) of vitamin E – Two essential nutrients that support the immune system and provide antioxidant support†. They also provide 450 mcg (1500 IU) of vitamin A, 25 mcg (1000 IU) vitamin D and 11 mg of zinc – these three nutrients also play an important role in helping support the immune system.†
B loves her new teacher and wanted to bring her some gifts to say thank you, so we got to work.
