    Almost every Sunday we have dinner with my dad.  It is a great tradition that allows us to have a standing meal on the calendar so we can catch up.  Sunday is also our meal prep day so my cooking time for dinner is very limited.     This holiday season, Sara Lee® Frozen Desserts are inspiring shoppers to try something new for the table.  This was my first time making a chocolate ganache.  I don't know why I was so nervous to make it.  I love recipes that are simple, but seem complicated.  This ganche is so good I may have been eating it by the spoonful!  You can also bring them to a friend's house or pass them on as a gift.  Sara Lee® Frozen Desserts are the key ingredient to meal inspiration and recipe hacks that can be enjoyed any time of day during the busy holiday season.

    • Sara Lee® Frozen Desserts Cheesecake
    • 1 cup of Chocolate Chips
    • ⅔ cup of Heavy Whipping Cream

    • Heat heavy cream until is starts to boil
    • Pour hot heavy cream on top of the chocolate chips.  Allow it is sit for a minute and melt.  Then mix cream and chocolate together.
    • Spoon the ganache on top of the Sara Lee Cheesecake.  Allow it to thaw for 2-3 hours.  Then slice and ENJOY!
