We love to travel.  My hubby and I have traveled to over 30 countries.  Our traveling has changed to more local travel since our daughter was born.  Since we live in South Florida we are lucky to have so many places to explore.  When we are not traveling we love to play tourist in our own town.  Have you ever payed tourist in your town?

AroundMe app is great when you are traveling or even in your own town.  It quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Gas Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.  When you find a business in the category you can select it to find out the distance.

Directions - Waze

There is nothing worse than getting stuck in traffic.  Waze helps you avoid heavy traffic areas.  It is the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app. Waze gives you real time traffic updates.  It has introduced me to new roads even in my own town.

Finding Gas - GasBuddy

I love finding a deal.  There is nothing worse than filling up and then pulling out to see gas is $.20 cheaper just down the street.  GasBuddy app helps you save money and time by finding the best price for gas

Bathroom Breaks - Sit or Squat

We have all been there before you are desperate to find a restroom.  Sit or Squat app allows you to search and view over 100,000+ public restrooms based on your location.  The map results include an interactive map that give you travel times.

Weather - Weather Channel

In Florida is the summer we are used to daily showers.  They often only last a couple of minutes.  We are always using the weather channel app especially their future radar map to see if the storm is passing.  You can also setup personalized weather alerts.

Editing Photos - Snap Seed

Snap Seed is my favorite photo editing app for the phone.  It includes 29 tools and filters, including: Healing, Brush, Structure, HDR, Perspective.  All styles can be tweaked with fine, precise control
