We are Irish, but let's be honest even if we were not I would celebrate St. Patty's Day. Any excuse to celebrate!!! This week we also made these Pinch Protection Gifts for St. Patty's Day.
St. Patty's Day Blog Hop
We love breakfast all day long. So we decided to do a Top of the Morning St. Patty's Day Breakfast party to celebrate! I've teamed up with 8 other party bloggers to share fun ideas for the holiday.
St. Patty's Day Breakfast
I love pops of gold with just about any color. The contrast with the green is one of my new favorite combos. I have seen the paper fans all over my favorite parties and this was my first time working with them. When I saw them on Oriental Trading Company I knew I had to have them. They made the best backdrop for our breakfast bar cart. Since our food was part of the decor I displayed it in a combination of glass abowls and gold containers.
This Lucky banner from Target was the perfect addition to the party. I love the gold and the tassel. Do you think I can use it all year long?
DIY St. Patty's Day Containers for St. Patty's Day Breakfast
I would love to buy new containers for every party, but I am officially out of storage space. I love this idea to transform your regular glass containers into themed containers. It is as simple as buying window clings and placing them wherever you want.
Food for our St. Patty's Day Breakfast
I originally had plans for sprinkle pancakes as well rainbow stacks of pancakes. We love pancakes, but most mornings we are running out the doors so I decided to keep the food simple with cereal and fruit only. I only buy lucky charms and fruit loops for St. Patty's day. They are so festive and my daughters favorite cereal. Blueberries and whipped cream topped with sprinkles were served in gold pails.
I made these gold dipped utensils for a party last year and I am totally in love with them. They are so easy to make. Simply take mod podge and apply gold glitter. Add another layer of mod podge so ensure the glitter stays in place. I tied them up with a green satin ribbon.
