How to Have a Great Play Date in 3 Easy Steps

Last week at the park I learned that my daughter's friends think I am the best mom.  It was super sweet, but ended up to be funny when I found out it was because I always have the best snacks. Now I feel like I need to up my game. Tip #1 - Snacks and Drinks

Tip #2 - Bring Some Extra Fun

Even though the playground has lots to do it is always fun to bring some extra items to play with.  Here are a list of some of our favorites.

• Chalk
• A Ball
• Lacrosse Sticks
• Bubbles
• Bike
• Scooter
• Nail Polish - this may sound unusual, but depending on the age it can be a big hit.  Don't forget to bring nail polish remover and cotton balls.

Tip #3 - Communicate with Other Parents

We love to bring a bike or scooter with us to the park.   We have learned from experience that it is best to let the other parents know ahead of time so they can plan to bring one too. I also like to ask moms if their kids have any allergies so I do not pack treats that they cannot share.
