We hosted our first Christmas a couple of years ago.  It was so exciting.  I spent weeks planning every detail from our menu to our decor.  The decor that was the most talked and photographed was this DIY Candy Cane Vase.  It was the easiest of all the crafts I did.  I have been looking forward to making it again.  When the opportunity to partner with Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth came up I immediately thought of sharing this craft with you.  I knew that the candy canes would be opened and enjoyed leaving crumbs that would need to be cleaned up.

DIY Candy Cane Vase

What You Need for DIY Candy Cane Vase:

• Candy canes (about 30-40)
• Rubber band
• Vase or metal container
• Flowers
• Ribbon

Optional:  Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dish Cloth.  I selected the blue one, my favorite color.

How to Make DIY Candy Cane Vase

Step 1: Place the rubber band around the middle of the vase.

Step 2: Continue adding candy canes until the vase is covered completely.  Add a ribbon to cover the rubber band.

Step 3: Add flowers and ENJOY!

Step 4: Clean up your work space.   If you have a special helper like I do a couple of the candy canes will be opened and enjoyed during the process.  This dish cloth can pick up all the little pieces of candy cane.
