Bailey is not an 8 year old, but she played one for this photo shoot! I was helping a friend with some details for her daughter's birthday party. We had a miscommunication about her daughter's age so Bailey got to pretend she was turning 8 tonight. I love how we were able to transform this candle from the dollar store into a fancy glittery candle. I am excited to share our DIY Glitter Birthday Candle with you.
What you need for the DIY Glitter Birthday Candle:
- Number candle
- Glue - I used a glue stick this time, but would recommend mod pod in the future.
- Glitter
- Disposable plate
How to make the DIY Glitter Birthday Candle:
Step 1: Cover the candle in glue.
Step 2: Sprinkle the candle with glitter. I like to collect the extra glitter to use again.
Optional: Once the glue is dry cover with mod pod to help keep the glitter in place.

So simple yet so brilliant. Thanks for the tip! There's nothing like glitter to brighten, well, anything!
