    The Aluminum Show

The show combines music, dance, humor and creative creatures for an entertaining and energetic show the likes of which I have never experienced before. The story follows an astronaut's journey through a futuristic planet made of aluminum.  The flexible pipes that are traditionally used in air ducts create a world complete with playful and creepy characters who dance and speak through their movements.  It is a visual treat for the entire family!

Before the show we went backstage and spent time with dancers Liran Chernov and Eden Shikli.  Their passion for dancing and the show is contagious.  Liran shared how amazing it is that the creator was able to take an unexpected item and create an entire world out of it.  It made him "believe is something and want to create it."   They shared with us why the show is magical and how it works for every age, language and in every country.  They have both been part of the show for 2 years.  When I asked how they describe the show Liran said it is a "visual dance show."   As we left Liran and Eden invited us to sit back, relax and open our minds.  Even after talking to them I had no idea what we were in store for.

    Interactive Show

One of the highlights for me is the interactive scenes.  The audience got involved and also really excited.  It was fun to watch people young and old literally jumping out of their seats.  Everyone wanted to participate in passing the pipes and aluminum balloons around.

The show ended with a bang and an explosion of applause.

When you attend the show make sure to stay until the end and don't miss the opportunity to meet the actor and dancers.  They even allow you to try on one of the aluminum costumes.  Liran and Eden shared that engaging with the audience is one of their favorite parts and now I know why.  People young and old were lighting up as they had an opportunity to turn themselves into aluminum creatures.

    B's Review

B loved the show and gave it two thumbs up.  I was concerned during some of the part that she would be afraid, she was not.  She kept saying I loved it!  Dori the tour manager even gave B a mini creature from the show that she is taking to show and tell this week.
