What do you do if you buy seeded groups instead of seedless grapes from Costco. Make Grape Juice of course. I found a great recipe on Grow a Good Life. When I first started making it Bailey innocently asked why we would make it fresh since we already had some from the store. When we were done she understood.
I still cannot believe how easy it was.
Ingredients:
- Grapes
- ½ Cup of Water
- Juice bag or filter
- Mashed potato crusher
Directions:
Step 1: Wash the grapes and then add them to a pot with a ½ cup on water.
Step 2: Cook on low for about 20 mins. Then mash the grapes with the potato crusher.
Step 3: Pour the grape mixture into a juicing bag or a filter. The original post I found goes into how to can the juice. It only lasted a couple of days in our house so there was no need to worry about those steps.
Cheers and enjoy!!! Have you made juice before? Any tips? I cannot wait to make it again.
