I love to entertain all year long, especially during the holidays. When I am entertaining I like to think about my guests and add in special touches throughout my home. From signatures drinks to beautiful centerpieces to details everywhere including our guest bathrooms. 5 Steps to Prepare Your Bathrooms for Holiday Guests
Step 1: Decor - I love to decorate especially for the holidays. This is the first year I have extended my decor to the bathroom too. I kept it simple and worked with the decor I already had in the bathroom.
I wrapped our existing artwork in this adorable buffalo plaid. It is easy to do. Wrap the frame like you would any gift. When you get to the top where the hook is fold the wrapping paper under so you do not cover up your hook. I replaced one of our paintings with a wreath. I am in love with this boxwood wreath. It is so simple and elegant and smells amazing.
I also replaced my traditional blue and white soap dispenser with a clear one. I added wrapping paper to the soap dispenser to keep with my theme.
Step 2: Stock up on Supplies - We have all been there before, you are a guest and you need a new roll of toilet paper. You are forced to look through the cabinets. Which is why I love to have Toilet Tank Bath Basket so that guests know exactly where they can find more toilet paper. Step 3: Amenity Basket - In addition to extra toilet paper I like to include a welcome basket in the guest bathroom. I continued the plaid theme with these bags that include toiletries and feminine products so guests have them at their finger tips.
Step 4: Clean - Sparkle® paper towels are the just right towels that get the job done at a good price. I use a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water. It works well on most surfaces from the mirror to the counters. Uses less products makes the job go faster!
Step 5: Fresh Towels - I believe if it is not moving monogram it! I add a base towel in white with our monogram. Hand towels are a great way to decorate your bathroom and add holiday cheer to your bathroom. So layered on more of my favorite plaid and red hand towels to make it festive.
