Bailey is not an 8 year old, but she played one for this photo shoot! I was helping a friend with some details for her daughter’s birthday party. We had a miscommunication about her daughter’s age so Bailey got to pretend she was turning 8 tonight. I love how we were able to transform this candle from the dollar store into a fancy glittery candle. I am excited to share our DIY Glitter Birthday Candle with you.
What you need for the DIY Glitter Birthday Candle:
- Number candle
- Glue – I used a glue stick this time, but would recommend mod pod in the future.
- Disposable plate
How to make the DIY Glitter Birthday Candle:
Step 1: Cover the candle in glue.
Step 2: Sprinkle the candle with glitter. I like to collect the extra glitter to use again.
Optional: Once the glue is dry cover with mod pod to help keep the glitter in place.
